Look forward to heading back there next year and seeing if they have any new rooms! We arrived in 15-passenger vans and parked on the street for our Wednesday morning event. The girls talked about it for DAYS after our trip and I've recommended it to my camp colleagues for future trips.īe prepared to pay for parking on the street (coins for meters) or in a garage. My group did "The Butcher's Basement," and we made it out with only 6 seconds to spare, but we did it. I brought a group of 18 girls (ages 10-13) and 11 adult staff and this was a great activity for us to do before we headed out for lunch! I split the participants into groups for each room and the man working there that day took over from there!Įveryone enjoyed the rooms - AND WE ALL GOT OUT! We had a little extra assistance I'm sure, but it was such a success. So in essence you are paying less for larger groups.I have so many great things to say about my experience with this place in Portland! I'm a summer camp administrator in Maine and I'm always looking for fun and different places to take my campers on trip days and this place didn't disappoint! I was on a strict budget and they totally made a great event happen for us. No, room escape games are inherently group events and as such our pricing is lower than the average/quality. If you would like to attend the game on a certain date, please purchase the tickets in advance. We cannot hold tickets until they are paid for, sorry. There are some rooms that have physical limits on player maximum, so ask before you bring any extra players along beyond the room maximum. As for more players, while we do allow you to go over the room limit, it will dilute the puzzles and crowd the room. Yes, you can always play with less players, but we have a minimum purchase amount for the room of 3 players. Q : The room says 4-6 players, can I have more/less? You will have to purchase all the tickets for the players at the time of booking, but if you wish to add players, reach out to us and we can handle it. You are in luck! We have made all our rooms private for the foreseeable future. Please be aware that our game is a live event, so once the booking is confirmed there is a $30 rescheduling fee if changes are made within 48 hours of your booking time. Since credit card processing fees add up we offer gift cards instead of refunds. See each game's page for information about that game's age restrictions. However, the minimum age may vary depending on what game you choose to play. If you leave the room you may not be allowed to re-enter depending on team response and show timing.

While we do actually lock some of the rooms, all rooms have an emergency exit button which allows you to leave at any time. Our approach is very different to other escape games since we try to create the most immersive game possible.

We specialize in set design, themed environments, theatrics, story telling, lighting/sound effects, electronic wizardry, and use very few padlocks. We ask that you show up 15 minutes early for rules and a short story. Typically the games last up to 60 minutes with a short introduction at the start and brief wrap up at the end. Some of our rooms are more of an adventure room, so the end goal may be different. While in the room they must gather clues to solve puzzles so they can escape the room. It is a room that 2 to 10 people will be locked in for a predetermined amount of time.
